What is a Pre-Application Conference?

The City of Gig Harbor offers an optional Pre-Application Conference for people considering applying for permits within the City. This forum allows an opportunity for those interested in developing a parcel, construction of a new structure, renovating an existing structure or subdividing or rezoning a parcel to sit down with a staff member from the Planning, Engineering and Building departments to discuss their  proposal. There is a pre-application fee for this service but it allows a potential applicant to get more detailed feedback on a potential project than can be obtained at the counter.
