Public Defender Services

Effective 1/1/24 public defender services will be provided by Kintanar Law, PLLC. Kintanar Law is responsible for the delivery of mandated legal services to indigent persons accused of misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor crimes in Gig Harbor Municipal Court (GHMC). Those charged with a criminal offense in GHMC that cannot afford an attorney may request a public defender. Applications are available at the clerk's office or linked below.
