The city partners with Harbor WildWatch on stormwater education. Join them on a beach walk, do some volunteer field work, or visit them at the Marine Life Center right by Skansie Park!

Come visit us at the Civic Center to get a free kit with everything you need to place markers on your neighborhood storm drains. Kits include:

  • Markers
  • Glue
  • Wire Brush
  • Hi-Visibility Vest
  • Map (if needed)

The city partners with Tacoma Tree Foundation to host tree share events. Stop by for a tree to plant on your Gig Harbor property and help us meet our tree canopy goals! Tree canopy helps manage stormwater volume and quality.
