Proposal: The applicant is proposing to remove and replace the solid decked pier, ramp, piling and floats and install a new pier, ramp, float system with up-todate environmental standards in a new configuration. The total existing square footage is 8,970, the proposed square footage is 8, 186, a reduction of 784 square feet. The applicant is proposing to remove a total of 1,890 cubic feet of concrete.
The proposed project will bring the materials up-to-date and install aspects including grating with a minimum of 61 % open area on 100% of the pier and ramp and 50% of the floats. It will remove the creosote treated pilings and replace it with galvanized steel. Light penetrability and fully encapsulated floatation will bring the dock up-to-date.
