Right lane closures on SR 16 – Tacoma Narrows Bridge

Dates: April 25-26, 2025
Time: 7 p.m. Friday, April 25, to 5 a.m. Saturday, April 26
Location: Right lane, eastbound SR 16, mileposts 8.95 to 5.04 (Tacoma Narrows Bridge)
Impacts:

• Closure of the two right eastbound lanes across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge.

• Closure of the 24th Street on-ramp to eastbound SR 16.

Reason: Crews will be cleaning the accordion joints at the beginning and end of the bridge.

Detour: A signed detour will be provided for the 24th Street on-ramp closure. Please plan for delays and use alternate routes if possible.
