On Wednesday, August 6, pavement coring work will take place along 38th Avenue NW between the city limits and 41st Street Court NW. This work is part of the City of Gig Harbor’s Pavement Maintenance and ADA Improvements project.
Crews will be on site between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. to collect pavement samples, which will help inform upcoming road and accessibility improvements. Flaggers will be present throughout the day to direct traffic through the work zone. Drivers should expect intermittent delays and are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternate routes if possible.
