A full closure of Peacock Hill Avenue just south of the intersection where Apollo Way meets 108th St. NW will take place on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Crews will be onsite Friday, Oct. 17, conducting work in preparation for the road closure. Please plan ahead and allow extra time for travel through the area.
The work is being completed by Parker Pacific Inc. on behalf of a private property owner at Harbor Run to connect to the city’s sewer system. This is not a city project.
Electronic message boards have been in place since Oct. 10 to provide advance notice of this closure. The project team scheduled daytime work to minimize nighttime impacts in this residential area.
What to expect
Location: Peacock Hill Avenue, just south of Apollo Way and 108th St. NW, to 107th Street NW. This is a total road closure.
Closure time: Saturday, Oct. 18, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Detour: The route around the closure goes westbound from Borgen Blvd on the north side of Peacock Hill Ave to southbound Burnham Drive connecting to Harborview Drive and then connecting onto eastbound North Harborview Drive to the south end of Peacock Hill Ave. [see map]

Due to the depth of the trench required for this work, Peacock Hill Avenue must be fully closed to all traffic at the work site. Flaggers will be present. Access to residential and commercial driveways will be maintained. Pedestrians are not allowed in the work zone.
We appreciate the community’s patience while this privately-funded project is completed..
