Gig Harbor City limits is much smaller than many people expect. Locations in Unincorporated Pierce County also have a "Gig Harbor" mailing address making it confusing when requesting public services. Click below for a link to City boundary maps.

If you are a resident of the City of Gig Harbor or the business requesting fingerprints for employment is located in the city limits, you can be fingerprinted by the Police Department by appointment only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The fee is $15 per card. This may be paid by cash, check, credit/debit card or money order.
Please bring photo identification and the fingerprint card(s) with you. Fingerprint cards may be acquired from the requester of the prints or you may contact the Washington State Patrol at 360-534-2000 and request that they be mailed to you.

Do not just throw away or flush your unused prescription drugs! You can dispose of any unused prescription drugs at the Gig Harbor Civic Center during normal business hours. We cannot accept needles or liquids. The Gig Harbor Police Department can provide you with information on how to dispose of these items.
